Re: baldor cc22529 dc servo motor info needed

torque should be in the 1000-1200 oz-in in range I assume you mean instantaneous peak torque. Those numbers translate to 62.5 - 75.0 in-lb, which is 2-3x the continuous stall torque that a knee mill with 10 revs/inch typically needs. when we put steppers on machines like this with the CNC4 they wer...

Re: baldor cc22529 dc servo motor info needed

make sure to purchase the 6400 step per rev clearpaths (and not the 800 step per rev units) Teknic should publish commonly used clearpath motor sizes/type/model to replace common CNC machine tool axis motors instead of starting from ground zero with each customer. love their product but, starting fr...

Re: OPCON and USB-BOB

So your saying that the joystick need to just be simple mechanical "switches", yes? So this means my idea of using my 3 axis, analog joystick is not going work. :( I had high hope for this. analog cnc joy stick? never seen one on a CNC, all the ones i've opened up are just switches inside...

Re: Hickory revision ?

Hi Keith, The RMA is 36786. We are not exactly sure what has happened. I was told that a breakdown of the techs findings would be included when the board was shipped back to us. So as it currently stands The original board is not repairable. We purchased a new board. The process has taken quite a w...

Re: Hickory revision ?
