Re: CNC12 Software cycle start disabled
Thanks all for the replies. Working now. Yes, I had to invert the conditions in the Wizard. This is confusing and I would have not thought to do that as it goes against the logic in my head. Not sure the underlying concept on why Centroid has done it like this but hey, I'll go with it. I am glad Cen...

CNC12 Software cycle start disabled
Report attached.
We have added an operator station on our machine with Cycle Start, Tool Check and Cycle Stop buttons. I added the inputs for in the Wizard. This now disables the software buttons in CNC12 which I don't want to do. I would like operation from either.
Is this possible?

Re: Enable outputs on Acorn
This machine is in our R&D department. As part of the hazard assessment, one of the requirements is the disabling of the drives. It a requirement stipulated by our safety team which I don't have much say in. Honestly, I have found over time it's best just to do than to argue, less headaches.

Re: Enable outputs on Acorn
Thanks guys. That's the info I need. Although the drives are enabled by default, I am looking to disable them when required.

Enable outputs on Acorn
I am using a DB25 interface for my stepper motor outputs. While using this are the enable outputs on H2 and H3 still active to use?
If so are the active high or low for enabled?

Re: DRO display units
Thanks, I understand. Still be nice to just have that assigned to a button.

Strange characters in display (again) <fixed>
Recently upgraded to latest version of CNC12. I know this was an issue before. I am getting strange characters showing up near the text field in MDI when I am typing. 20240409_131749_HDR.jpg I had this before in a previous version but it was on a different screen. The characters were changing as I t...

Re: DRO display units
I guess I am not understanding this completely. I understand the machine configuration such as for the motors is set as rev/in., etc. I assume when a program is written with G21 that CNC12 must scale everything to match the configuration. I can run metric programs now and everything works fine it's ...

Sorry, I forgot. Is there a concern you are seeing with this?

Re: Coordinate display overlapping in graphing.
Yes they are.
I did the calculations and verified physically on the machine when I first commissioned it. It was bang on.
I haven't had any issues running 5000. The machine actually runs very well and has lots of torque through all speeds.
