Moving from Linux to Windows 7
Hi I'm running an MPU11/ GPIO4D system with the centroid software on Linux on the pre-loaded SSD as supplied when I bought the system. I want to try changing over to windows 7 instead. The control has the basic software unlock that I bought with the system and is the last update of the Linux based s...

Re: Adding extra axis on centroid lathe software
Hi
At present this is a future project on a lathe I've been offered, it would be a brand new mpu11 and Gpio4d system with current centroid software. I just wondered what was possible before I even got involved in it, I know a c axis is possible with an unlock but what else?
Thanks
Phil

**Resolved** Adding extra axis on centroid lathe software
Hi Can I add extra axis to the centroid lathe software like I have with the mill version? I want to add c axis by buying the unlock to an existing z and x axis lathe and in addition add a linear Y axis and a rotary B axis as per a millturn. I would NOT need rotating tool centre point or any other ad...

Re: Fault code while testing jumpers
Hi This issue now seems to have resolved itself. I have no idea what I've done but its all working. Pressing F3 now turns the outputs 17, 18 , 19 and 20 green hitting e stop turns them red, releasing e stop and pressing F3 mdi turns them green again. I feel like kissing my mill !!!! Onwards to the n...

Re: MPU11 and DC3IOB doubts
Hi I'm just installing my outfit at the minute and am running both my mpu11 and gpIO4D power supplies on 240v ac single phase at present as this is easiest for me while testing, they'll be connected to the machines 115v ac supply eventually but I'm still picking out certain bits of that circuit at p...

Re: Fault code while testing jumpers
Hi achew I've not looked at it yet. While awaiting a response to the query I took the opportunity to do a load of permanent wiring on the machine instead of all the temporary bits, the console is all finished now and the estop wired in so I don't have to keep fiddling wires to cycle the estop. I'll ...

Re: Fault code while testing jumpers
I should add that the last error message 327 Fault job cancelled only appears when I press F3 to go into mdi mode to turn on the 4 lights 17 to 20.
Is there any documentation related to the real time IO display explaining what each light is indicating?
Cheers
Phil

Fault code while testing jumpers
Hi guys I'm up to section 4.5.4 on my mpu11/ gpio4D installation and am testing out the jumpers before proceeding. I can't get the outputs 17 to 20 to light up and am getting an error message that I'm not sure how to resolve, this is what I get: 335 Emergency stop released 301 Stopped 9099 Message c...

Re: CANT FIND SALES INFO
I am retrofitting a large VMC and have had many questions each of which has been answered quickly, thoroughly and clearly by the Ajax team. Their after sales help has been excellent. Cfra777 bear in mind these guys are really busy,if you have a specific question that isn't answered in any of the ext...
