Diyo 3wire npn no probe

Hi I picked up this probe on Alliexpress. The wiring diagram is attached. It can work as a simple NO with a poor man’s detect option. (Forego the red and simply use the yellow and black)However I was wondering if it can be used in its designed config as described in the attached image. 95B46DB6-C350...

Re: All axis not functioning

Feels like I am talking to myself.
I removed the IC which I believed as shorting the board and now my Z axis moves perfectly. That was good news. Bad news is that I need a new board.

Re: All axis not functioning

Gary, Removing enable left the steppers locked as opposed to before where they would unlock (disable) when i powered up the acorn. Unfortunately there was no movement. So I took the time to map out the pins on the terminals versus the chip. See below. Chip 2 looks OK but chip 1 is grounding out (or ...

Re: Brand New - No connectivity

This is embarrassing but I will share. My laptop had no com port so I looked through my box of USB stuff and found what I thought was a USB to RJ45 converter. It turned out that what I had found was one side of a USB extender which allowed one to extend a USB cable with the use of an ethernet cable ...

Re: All axis not functioning

If removing the enable line works that means that it is already enabled by default in the firmware in the drive. This is usually the case. Most of the time people here on the forum recommend leaving the enable lines disconnected at first and see if you get movement. If you do great, it's enabled by...

Re: All axis not functioning

Easier said than done. These ICs are like hen's teeth. One opportunist here is Aus is trying to sell them for $74 each. That's at least a 1000% markup. Curiously his business is listed under "Garden and Home".

Re: All axis not functioning

Thanks Gary, Thought about that. Will try tonight. the TBD62093AFG chip has 8 transistor circuits. I assume each axis requires 3? (pul, dir, ena). There are two arrays so that only leaves 4 for the relays? Gary, I am on Australian time so thought i would try to get ahead of the curve. 1. If removing...

Re: All axis not functioning

Hi all. The top chip is blown. Yes the relays work. I tried running the stepper off of axis 4 but that also did not work. I may try again. After a reset, all leds go green. When i press job start leds on x y z all go red. 4 remains green. After a reset each led turns red as I attempt to drive that a...
