Acorn PRO and CSR (Coordinate System Rotation)
Hi, I just wanted to take advantage of the CSR available in Acorn Pro. Just for fun, I have selected two arbitrary points on my table and used Accept as described. I can see that the CSR of -26° is set. I would not expect that entering G0 x100 y0, the spindle would jog in an angle of 26°. I also run...

Re: Spindle speed control
I had two different cables with always the same voltage delta. There is no encoder installed at all. 120rpm is the minimum I can setup without the spindel enabled. Eventhough I have set 0 minimum RPM the minimum I can set is 120rpm. As you can see in the 2 screenshot. It doesn't matter for me since ...

Re: Spindle speed control
Cheked again all ca les and found that the VFD was not grounded. But the problem persists.

Re: Spindle speed control
I validated my stetement. Everything is perfect as long the VFD is not powered up or connected. As soon the VFD has power, the voltage climbs to the defaul delta. I tested it without the servos connected and without the spindle or VFD connected. Something has to be made at the spindle I guess? I'm n...

Re: Spindle speed control
The initial Voltage is quite of from the beginning.... The problem happens when I connect the VFD. As soon I have connected the cables I messure the delta Voltage. The VFD shows 0V (obviously) and Acorn has the expected Voltages. I have to verify again with your RPM's. But I have checked that alread...

Re: Spindle speed control
Hi centroid_tech,
I read following values at the spindle ACM and VI
Spindle auto
Spindle off: 0.02v
S2400: 1.101V
S12000: 5.13V
S24000: 10.08V
Minimum rpm (spindle manual) 120rpm.

Re: Spindle speed control
Hi Marty, I followed the Schematic from the Acorn Page and as mention I can control the spindle. I bought the VFD on Aliexpress and it says Huanyang Inverter. Not sure if this is a copy. The model is a HY02D223B. I have to admit I'm not an expert in reading schematics. But I can control forward, bac...

Re: Spindle speed control
Hi Scott, Find the report attached. I have traced the issue down to the (Huan Yang) VFD. As soon I connect the spindle ACM and V1 to the Acorn spindle control output connection the voltage changes from 0v to the mention voltage. Maybe you have an idea what I'm missing. Except of the Fault connection...
