Re: Program crashes spindle on M6
Sorry. It is mach. It looks like my soft limits are set correctly but I will look again, they may have been off at the time. I played with the M6 macro changing a < to > and the spindle went the other way about three inches. It just seems like a macro problem. I am calling z home (fully retracted) 0...

Program crashes spindle on M6
When running a G code file, after the first tool is done the machine goes home and waits for me to change to the next tool. When I am done and push the start button the program stays on M6 and the spindle moves up (Z+) until it crashes into the limit. This only happens on a tool change. I am using t...

Re: turn all outputs off
I have the same problem. If you close mach without turning off the power to the relays the x axis shoots the table at the wall until it hard stops . I put an ups on the computer but it does not handle mach crashing.

**RESOLVED** PID Tuning
Scott,
Can you post some more pics of what the plot of a properly tuned drive should look like? Also, maybe a description of how we can unlock the centroid demo, and use it to help us tune mach?
Thanks

Re: spindle wont come on
If you use relays only thern you have to specify them in ports/ pins, mill options I think, upper left corner.
