Re: Yaskawa Wirings

Look at my post on drive ready signals. You can use my approach for alarm signals as well. Take a look and see if you understand. Russ Many thanks Russ you post is very clear, did not see it before. Will see if I can get one of those Optocouplers boards. Wish I could use remaining Outputs for more ...

Re: Touch Screen Monitors

That is something that is easier said than done. There is a lot of coding, that is static, that is in place for the layout of the current virtual control panel. I have mentioned it to our software department to see if the orientation of the virtual control panel can be easily changed at some point ...

Re: Yaskawa Wirings

Hi Russ , You answers has been very helpful for me, many thanks. As the Yaskawa manual examples are for 5V or 12V open collector I was afraid about the 24V coming from the Acorn , now I understand with the 2.2K resistor should not be any problem. Re: Yaskawa Wirings

Hey Russ , So basically , you are saying I should consider the same connection for the Sigma 5 and the SGDA ? This means that the only changes would be the pin numbers loactions. Its look like I was trying to re invent the wheel , got confused by the Pins Orientation. I think Im clear now. Tha...

Re: Yaskawa Wirings

Hi Guys any thought about this ? Was looking at the SGDA Drives schematics and believe that the right configuration may be : Pin 1 Pulse to the ST1 on Header 2 Pin 2 *Pulse to the COM on Header 2 Pin 3 Sign to the DR1 on Header 2 Pin 4 * Sign to the COM on Header 2 Does it make more sense ? Thanks.
