Re: Jumping Z axis when homing!

Well I got an error this morning. I just reset it and turned the feed down. and re-homed it.
I did Pump a lot of way lube out the Z slide just to check that.
I will reset tools I will be using to ensure correct offset.

Re: Jumping Z axis when homing!

I had a chance to watch the video as well. Its almost as if the Z is hitting a hard stop. If it was "Professionally" Installed, the integrator ran a system test, as there is a SYSTEST.OUT file in his report and it failed. Is the person/firm that did the integration still around? You shoul...

Jumping Z axis when homing!

Control #102978 I had this control installed the end of 2017. It is had issues with this since. It was installed professionally. Whenever I go to home the the machine at startup I have to turn the feed down very low to keep it from jumping and causing the machine to fault out. I used to be able to s...

Re: EDTING GCODE ON OLDER LATHE

There should be a few more lines below the "End Prog" comment, containing the G codes that Intercon posts at the end of the program. Presumably those would be the codes he wants to edit, to streamline the process of running part after part. The problem is that the text editor is configure...

EDTING GCODE ON OLDER LATHE

Hello again, control# 8121 Having some trouble editing the gcode that Intercom has made. I have 275 of 1800 bolts modified. Trying to save some steps in the program to get it to not do the tool change with the indexer just use tool 0101. Cut out some of the unnecessary moves and turn off the spinal ...

Re: JUMPY CHOPPY MACHINING

Thank you for your reply! I will look in to the smoothing, F360 will let me adjust lead in and out non engagement feed and smoothing. It seems as though Centroid is accelerating and decelerating at each line. I can see how longer lines will help. I do not know why F360 dose not use arks instead of l...
