Re: Video Walkthrough of How I Use the Acorn

Yes a very good introduction to the Centroid Acorn. One thing I don't agree with in the video is Adam stating that the Acorn system is expensive. If one values their time at all the Acorn is a no brainer. The ease of installation and support is priceless I think. The combination of hardware and soft...

Higher resolution on Wmpg encoder wheel

Is there a way to get less movement of an axis when using the knob on the wmpg? I would like it not to move as much when I have it on the 1x setting. I have the 1x setting in the wizard set at .001 or what ever it say on the pop up is the lowest number it can be. I am using MM.

Facing with Intercon?

I had never used the facing canned cycle in Intercon before yesterday. My question is why doesn't Intercon use the tool diameter in the tool library when facing? Meaning you have to add the radius of the tool to the facing length on both ends of the pass. It would seem to me there should be an entry...

Re: Curious error msg for WMPG

I had the same message two days ago. I did the usual of unplugging and plugging back in the USB antennae. That didn't fix it so I restarted CNC12 and then all was OK. It has not happened again. No updates of OS or any other software. The computer is not connected to the internet. That is the first t...

Re: 1.8 KW AC Servo For Spindle Motor

Uwe, on your builds do you have an encoder in addition to the servo encoder when you have used a JMC servo for the spindle motor?

Uwe
I found out that if I want to have two setups they have to share the same home locations. The way you described is how I ended up doing it.

Re: Swissi's post processor not compatible with two setups?

So is it possible to use Swissi's PP with two setups? I get a message that says my selected PP is not compatible with two setups. No one has written yay or nay.

Re: ProbeApp V3: The Ultimate Probe Software for CNC12

..... Automatic detection of wireless probes is a nontrivial problem. Depends on how it is achieved... Very simple is a switch in the storing of the probe, if removed from storing the switch turns probe detect on. Could also be used for a wired probe if you want to skip plugging in and out. Uwe Thi...
