Kitmill,
Does it work on any of the speed selections, x1, x10, or x100, when selected on the MPG pendant?

Re: Odd 0-10V Issues
Try disconnecting the shield from ground.

This is some information on the Wizard not opening from within CNC12. The Wizard will open and work when opened from File Explorer but will not open when the wizard button is pushed in the utility page.https://youtu.be/9F8bNQVoNmA

Re: 120 or 240 Power
The problem with bringing in neutral with the 240V hots and ground is you need to maintain balance on the two hot legs. I wouldn't go more than a couple of amps higher on one leg than the other as it can cause problems with the double pole breaker in the breaker box. Balance on a 240VAC feed is rel...

Re: 120 or 240 Power
At least two ways to handle this.
1. Bring in a neutral with the two power and ground lines.
or
2. Use a 240/120 transformer in the cabinet.
Bringing in a neutral line has always seemed easier/cleaner to me. YMMV JMHO

Re: Bridgeport series 1 boss low gear
No I'm not. You CAN set it up to use a switch. I don't. I have to "push the button" to tell it that it's in lo range. Either way (obviously) works!

Re: Bridgeport series 1 boss low gear
No, you don't need a switch. I just use the hi/lo range push buttons. The setup instructions explain how to do it. I rarely use lo range, bit when I need it, I'm glad it's set up. You just have to remember to press lo range when you swap the lever .

Re: Help with Gecko 203v on Acorn, retrofitting old ShopBot.
I think we have gotten into an era of information overload. There is so much information on so many different drive types and models that information (misinformation) is bleeding over to everyone's feedback for a "fix" to their problem. First, look at the specs for your drives. then look a...

Re: Acorn power up process?
Don,
I have encountered the same situation. To consistently connect, I must start the CNC computer first. If I don't, it will only connect about 40% of the time.
I now just start the computer first and then Acorn & drives.

Re: Sparks Flying! AC on the Servo Housing
If the shield on ANY of your cables is grounded, try disconnecting the shield ground, particularly the power leads from your drives to the servos. I used shielded cable for most all connections on my Bridgeport, and I had quite a few issues traced back to shield grounds, including the issue you are ...
