No Spindle Motor- Bridgeport Series I -DC310 revival
Bridgeport Boss Series I, 2005 retrofit to AjaxCNC, with DC310 PLC controller. Powered by Phase-a-matic Rotary 5hp. I bought in 2007 used lightly for about a year. Stored. For 2 yrs. I have been trying to bring this up. I just got the PLC DC310 back from Centroid after a going over and testing. Toda...

Re: Alarm 405 Low Lubricant won't clear
Normally Closed I agree. I have a drawing here that states NC. I measure zero resistance across the switch reservoir full. I disconnected one leg from the wiring connection and still get zero. So far I have removed about 1/2 the oil with zero resistance. Last year I was trying to get this going. I h...

Re: Alarm 405 Low Lubricant won't clear
IMG_20170110_111543.jpg The motor has three wires. Yellow, blue, and red. Additionally, there are two reddish wires going down a hole next to the motor. So three wires for the motor. The two wires that would seem to be a low level switch are connected to INP18 and the common right next to it. So my...

Re: Convert 3Phase to Single- Series 1 Bridgeport CNC
This drive I bought is a Vevor. Does someone here know that it is worth it for me to return this unopened? I would pay shipping back to CA from FL and possibly a restocking fee. Your help is much appreciated. Dana

Re: Convert 3Phase to Single- Series 1 Bridgeport CNC
Hey that video is great! Thanks for that. Looks like I didn't get a real Huanyang. I moved too fast on that one. I bought this off ebay. Would have held out for Huanyang, but didn't realize I needed to. Hopefully I can get it to work.

Alarm 405 Low Lubricant won't clear
Hi, I have been plagued by this 405 Low Lube alarm. I put in the proper oil to the top. I pull up on the plunger until oil runs out in excess. Sometimes the alarm goes away temporarily then won't clear at all. Seems like there may be a parameter I could change or perhaps a jumper on the DC310? Took ...

Re: Convert 3Phase to Single- Series 1 Bridgeport CNC
If this drive will do the job, I think I will have to buy it. When I looked up the GS2 by Automation Direct, it seemed to indicate that I needed to by a filter and a fuse holder and fuse that raised the price another chunk. I am wondering if this huanyang drive needs such things?

Re: Convert 3Phase to Single- Series 1 Bridgeport CNC
Thanks for that advice. If I keep this I will sure get the GS2 drive. At this point I am looking at a T1 transformer in the upper left of the cabinet that I understand to be a single phase transformer and wondering if I disconnect that and supply single phase to the machine instead of that transform...
