Re: Rigid Tapping parameter 78 ?

I'll look into it. You should not be receiving that message as your report indicates you definitely have Pro.
I apologize for the inconvenience.

Re: Motor Transformer Sizing

Tom,

120VAC @ 20A is 2.4KVA. You'll probably be ok on 120VAC but you definitely want to make sure you have an inrush limiter. The Centroid "Cap & Bridge" do have an integrated inrush limiter installed. http://www.centroidcnc.com/centroid_diy ... nents.html PN12726

Re: Analog 0-10 volt staying at .6 volts when should be zero - RESOLVED

The relay should be used to explicitly enable/inhibit/disable the drive, not switch the analog. Good practice dictates that all axes and spindle drives be controlled by an explicit enable. ie.. Whether or not there is voltage present on the speed/torque reference should have no effect unless there i...

Re: CRAZY MOVES Allin1DC course adjustment of dro

A couple of observations: 1. Your system is running CNC11 v3.14. It was shipped with CNC11 v 3.16. Why was it back dated? It should be running 3.16 2. It doesn't look like your motors were ever tuned. This is likely your problem. 3 Have you contacted your dealer (McClaren Automation) for support in ...

Re: Analog 0-10 volt staying at .6 volts when should be zero - RESOLVED

Ok. The Acorn is not commanding any voltage. It sounds as the the voltage level is floating due to the Dyn4 connection. With it disconnected is it 0?(or very nearly - testing here we were at 15mv) Are you using shielded, twisted pair wiring? What gauge? How long is the run? Is it run along side any ...

Re: Analog 0-10 volt staying at .6 volts when should be zero - RESOLVED

It does look as though you have the updated PLC. Press alt-i to bring up the real-time I/O screen. The second line down are the outputs with OUT1 starting at the far left. OUT17-OUT28 are the digital to analog(DAC) outputs used for the 0-10VDC. They should ALL be off (Red) when the spindle is not on...
