you don't need a calculator.. just type in the value of the dro in the part setup screen with the math right in the line.
its quite simple really.

sometimes you can open the drive box and remove the usb breakout board and run the stepper drivers directly with acorn board header connections.

Use the part setup menu to set part zeros. set a zero on any side of the part, go to the other side of the part and touch that edge, look at the DRO (Digital Read Out) value that is the width of the part in that axis. to find the center, divide by 2. if you had a touch probe wired into the Acorn boa...

hello. are you talking about a CNC touch Probe or a Manual edge finder?

I would wire according to the the Acorn/G540 "drive only" schematic and config using G540 Drive only radio button in the wizard for starters. see attached.

for the rotary gear reduction section. please add a calculator for a rotary table since they are often worm drives.. the spec on the rotary table is often is a reduction value. like 90:1 or 180:1 etc.. here is how you calculate overall turns ratio for a rotary axis... for all rotary axes on a Centro...
