ok i looked into this some more and i think i see where the misunderstanding is coming from. Centroid's Velocity Modulation is not "LASER Smoothing" (Centroid has never used the words LASER Smoothing) Velocity Modulation is simply varying the power of the Laser based on the actual velocity...

Holy cow. That's way I had it to start with! My homing switch was mounted near the X table homing switch. My problem is the way part setup software treats the probe trying probe Y starting positive side moving negative. Trying start positive side will move positive rather up across the part towards...
