Well, I finally finished ( almost ) this Esab GXB 1000 Retro (12' x 24' water table). The machine is a 1991 with only 1100 hours ( military base ). It was fitted with (1) plasma head and (3) oxy/fuel torchs. The old control was obsoleted with no documents or wire schematics, it did have a parts book...

How does the THC drive the stepper? Is it direct or does it need to be fed back into Mach?

I need to know if i can get the Ajax plugin to not see "Z". I want to use a stepper with a plugin that works with Mach to drive "Z" ( plasma ).

Problem is solved. The new PC was at fault, apparent lightening storm without a surge protector in place.

no, i have not ever got a signal from allin1dc
it's connected directly
only windows 7 was installed and mach 3, firewall and updates disabled .( followed centriod allin1dc install manual )
when i ping either address i get no return signal

yes, all the lights are on like they are suppose to be. I have a 4 with a flashing dot for the display. I have a DC1 hooked up and that is it, lights are good on it with a 4. for display. pc never see's the allin1dc.

This is a new system, Dell GX620 with windows 7 premium home 64 bit. Mach 3 licensed. Ethernet will not green light ( or any ) on pc or allin1dc. The pc will get green light when connected to internet router with same grounded cat5 cable. what gives, have swapped cat5 3 times and nothing. Pc shows n...
