just got my R2E4 wired up went to set up motor revs moved 6.0" and got 14.4" is something way off that should be staring me right in the harry eyeball any info would be appreciated

I AM JUST STARTING A RETROFIT OF MY r2e4 BRIDGEPORT I have a 15 hp rotary phase converter running the rest of my shop (manual lathe Kearny trecker mill and what not) would it be advantages to install a vfd drive to run my machine and if so would it be better with a 240 single phase or a 3 phase input
