Re: Drag Plot Explanation

Thank you! I could not ask for more. :-) It's still a little confusing but still clear enough to figure out. Where did you glean this information? I went through everything I could find all docs including all bulletins. I am going on 69 so I probably overlooked something :-( I deleted x_drag.out y_d...

Drag Plot Explanation

Can anyone explain what the Drag Plot graph represents and how to interpret it? This is what I have learned so far. The red horizontal lines indicate the bounds acceptable limits for the machine as it is currently configured. The graph displays a graph of the motor pid out/current used over the dist...

Servo motor drag feedback used for control

I have a all-in-one that is used on a Bridgeport R2D2 converted mill. I notice I can run a drag test that seems pretty detailed. Also as I run a program the axis supplied power shows on the screen as a green or red line as the axis moves. I am familiar enough with computer programming to know that t...

Direct controlled Pump (Lube Oil Pump For Bridgeport)

Docs say these are the best lube pumps to use but I cant find any reference to them on google. I must be using wrong search words. Who makes these and how are they listed? Does bijur make them?

Re: Appendix A & B of ALLIN1DC Installation Manual

It's a shame you didn't have a cnc mill when grinding that mirror. Coming up with the programing and apparatus would have been fun.

Re: Appendix A & B of ALLIN1DC Installation Manual

After such a eligent reply, I will elaborate more, I know vary little about mpu11 and the mill. My experience comes from setting up and using a 14" research grade telescope. A lot of the calibration is the same principles, but must be extremely precise. Let's think about setting the revs/inch u...

I would really like to hear your comments on the program I wrote BUT only after you have at least looked at it least once, Just about any comments before looking at it are.......

3rd party program interfacing with mpu11 software

Are the current values of the DRO stored somewhere? (perhaps pushed on the stack) I know the plug ins can access them so they must be available some where.
The reason I ask is by acquiring the DROs values, I can take my revs/inch program to the next level, and actually make it useful.

Re: Appendix A & B of ALLIN1DC Installation Manual

I doubt that auto tune would disable the menu, but no mater how unlikely that is, it is possible.

Re: Appendix A & B of ALLIN1DC Installation Manual

I don't know if I have a problem yet with auto tune. I ran it once and all went vary well. Next I called team viewer support to help me set up machine. All went well. (I remember they asked about the brand of servos I was using???) Then I made changes to revs/inch. Doubling the values for x and y ax...
