we have a T400 and just adjust the wear offset to cut deeper no modifying any files intercon or posted gcode, works excellent for fitting gun barrels to receivers right on the lathe

My version does but I have had it for years and it was $275 back then. It also works (USB Key) on new versions of the software so far.
Haven't tried it on cnc12 my Acorn is shipping today.

I had the same problems going from dos cnc7 8.23 to Linux cnc10 2.36 I had to get an old ide cdrom and set up as secondary master on motherboard in machine targeted. here is the motherboard link for your motherboard http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/P4i945GC/, it shows 2 ide connectors.
