Re: lead shine motor part numbers

All the Leadshine models that Centroid carries are the high inertia model. The medium inertia are not well suited for most CNC operations. The model number for the 850w 130mm motor we carry is ELM2H-0850LD130F-H. You can find the dimensional specs in the below document: https://shopcentroidcnc.com/w...

Re: New Build: Multiple machines

What are the Yaskawa drive model numbers? The drives themselves probably support a number of other command signals.

Re: Touch screen latency, or CNC12?

Domenic, fair point. I received no user manual with the panel, and was unaware that there is a pressure-sensitive two-step reaction to a screen touch. How do you know that this is true with this particular touchscreen? I'll check and see if there's a way to disable it, but it's becoming somewhat mo...

Re: Touch screen latency, or CNC12?

Looking at the link that is a pressure sensitive touch screen. The amount of force changes the action performed. For industrial applications that are based on on/off functions this is not desirable. It is possible you can disable the force application so that any touch is just a touch like a normal ...

Re: Help getting my WMPG6 controller to connect/be detected

Please post a report. What version of software are you running? I assume you restarted software / computer and tried turning the WMPG on/off?

The WMPG-6 is being used with the Antenna that came with it correct? The Antennas are keyed to the receivers.

Re: Controller will not connect with PC.

Did you follow TB 270: https://www.centroidcnc.com/dealersupport/tech_bulletins/uploads/270.pdf When you install the software it will ask to set the IP address for you automatically. Is the IP of NIC the Acorn is plugged into actually set with a static IP of 10.168.41.1 and subnet mask of 255.255.25...

The Touchscreen Controller is underneath the LCD Control Board. It then connects via USB to the NUC.

As long as the product meets our minimum PC specifications there is no issue with using one of the many other options out there.
