Re: Momentary loss of Etherner Connectivity.

Update: I can't believe I've put up with this issue for the past 6 or so years. It has something to say about my patients! Looking back on my last post, I thought the USB cable was the problem. It wasn't. I have done everything I could think of to eliminate the issue including building a new PC, Cha...

Re: USB Keypad Operator Control Panel for Centroid CNC

Wow, this looks like exactly what I need to start using CNC11. I've been using Mach3 since me retrofit several years ago and have finally decided enough is enough. Thanks for looking after us DIY'ers. Now how about a similar solution for a pendent with and MPG? Or has someone already come up with on...

Re: Momentary loss of Etherner Connectivity.

I just wanted to post an update on my connectivity issues. After fighting with this for over a year, I finally stumbled across the problem. I had installed a USB Hub in my cabinet to connect my input devices. I routed the USB cable from the computer to the hub in the same cable tray as my other cont...

Re: Momentary loss of Etherner Connectivity.

Thank you cnc, I am not running a lube pump. I use an air powered lube spray which turns on and off with a solenoid. I don't have any problems running a program which is the only time the solenoid is operated. So the only time I lose communications with the computer is when I'm jogging into position...

Momentary loss of Etherner Connectivity.

O.K. I'm going to try one more time to get some help with this very annoying problem. Any and all suggestions will be accepted and appreciated. I have an ALLINONE controller running with Mach3 on my mill. It ran beautifully without problems for about a year. Then it started to lose the connection to...

Re: Control Cabinet layout

I did a conversion on a Comet Mill about three years ago. Here is a link to a video I posted on Youtube. There is also a video on the old Fanuc M10 system I ripped out. As an interesting side note, I sold most of the old Fanuc hardware and more than recovered the cost of my initial investment of the...

New computer. Which files to back up in Mach3

I am installing a new computer in my mill and I was wondering which file I should back up so I don't lose my Ajax config files. Everything is working well, but I'm having some computer problems, so I need to change it out. I'm running with Mach3. I'm really enjoying my Ajax Conversion!

Thanks,

Dan

Support for Mach Standard Mill

Is there any chance that MSM could be incorporated into the Ajax/Mach3 software? Their screen sets and Probing options seem to be just the ticket. I understand from Calypso Enterprizes that it would not be an unreasonable upgrade. Please? I've been using Ajax and Mach three for the past several mont...
