Brake timing question.
I have a question regarding spindle brake timing. My spindle is using pneumatic spindle brake release. The brake release is activating a few hundred milliseconds before starting the spindle. This is good, but my brake need a little more time between release and spindle start. is there any parameter ...

Re: Precision limit switches and lathe homing
One more thing.
I have by mistake run into the switch and bent the bracket without damaging the switch.
The one pictured above has 2.8mm stroke but also comes in 5mm stroke version.

Re: Precision limit switches and lathe homing
ScotY. The switches you are talking about is probably the same switches I use on my mill. They are normally closed 5 or 6mm plunger switches and VERY accurate. Made by Metrol. I can home my Z axis many times and measure position with a test indicator each time and always get back to the same positio...

MPG Spin control ALWAYS active. <clarified>
Today I noticed that the MPG spin control will control my spindle speed even when spindle is in AUTO. It don't matter if you are in spindle AUTO or spindle MANUAL, it will still have spindle control. I don't think this is by design, and I did not find it reported earlier. If you have an MPG then ple...

Re: Fix for next update + one question.
Keith, I just tested again using these steps. 1. I set run-time graphics to OFF in the wizard and clicked write to CNC12. 2. Shut down and re-started CNC12, and turned ON run-time graphics. 3. Started to run a part and run-time graphics is ON as requested is step 2. 4. Shut down CNC12. 5. Start CNC1...

Fix for next update + one question.
There is one entry in the wizard to select "Run time graphics on startup" in version 12.18 that don't work. If I have this entry set to OFF, then run time graphics will still be ON when starting CNC 12.18 if run time graphics was ON when I shut down CNC 12. Question: Is there any simple wa...
