That was it. It was the feed rate.
Thanks once again.

Re: How to cut away from the chuck
Hello Dana,
Thanks for your suggestions.
Yes, it is loosing position, home and Z. I'll lower the feed rate and see if it helps.
Thank you.

Re: How to cut away from the chuck
Something weird is going on. If I remove the finish pass, then the roughing executes. However at the end of the roughing cycle, it goes crazy and starts moving towards the chuck. You can see in the photo below, it chewed into my work holding jig. IMG_20210312_122340_818.jpg This is the part I am try...

How to cut away from the chuck
Hi All, I am trying to create a program to cut a profile which goes away from the chuck. I am doing this because it is easier for me to visualize and program. The part is held between centers. Program graph looks fine. But, when I start execution, it goes to the start X and Z and then moves towards ...

Re: CNC12 Threading (Resolved)
Got everything working. Threading works wonderfully after setting parameter 240 to -1. I can do internal and external threading. I do have one concern, the internal threading bar(s) seem to approach/retract much more than expected. I need to do really tight internal threading. I did set the approach...

Re: CNC12 Threading
Thanks for all the replies. I do have an encoder which works in the free version as well. But, looks like I will have to upgrade to Pro for threading. I tried adding G76 codes into intercon program, but it stops when it hits the threading code.

Re: Spindle Control for Mini Lathe
Go read this thread. Looks like the KB Electronics KBSI-125R controller and the KBSI-240D Signal Isolator are what you need. https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=1305&hilit=Spindle+motor+reversing+relay%2Fcontactor Thanks Marty. Looks like this might work. Just need to figure o...
