for a servo loop, afaik it is easier to control it at high speed vs low speed. Hence why a certain gearing is recommended.
With bigger servos this is less of an issue due to it just having more torque.

I buy them in Taiwan directly. But you are correct. Other than a bit of support by the manufacturer ... you are mostly on your own.

Hey all! The servos have arrived. And a few hours later it was all working! Now I need to nudge Keith and the centroid team to get the Delta C2000(+) working with ethercat :oops: Next step will be to make the panel for my e-cabinet. Mount it all in there ... and get the machine moving. -- I will upl...

I wrote a version of this in LCNC before on my router. and it worked fairly well.

that servo drive, at least to me seems extremely basic.
No filters, very basic parameters etc. Could email leadshine, perhaps they have a fix. But i kinda doubt it.
