Ok so I have been struggling with setting Output 8 (my airblast output) to m08 or any other m code doesn't reallzy matter. I just want to be able to turn it on and off manually when I need it and I cant seem to figure it out. Only way I can seem to turn it on is if I alt-I and double click the outpu...

That's what I did wrong, definetely too much voltage coming through. What can I do to lower the voltage, could I use a resistor? It is going through the same power supply as my z axis. Should I get a seperate power supply for just the solenoid? Idk why I thought it was a good idea to wire power from...

I take that back lol, what could I have done wrong? Ran for about 30 and started to see smoke, lol.

Would a 1N4007 diode work by chance? I only ask because I have one on hand. If not I will be ordering that one. Thanks for the help.

Do I need the fly back diode? If I do what would be a proper diode to use? I don't know much about electrical applications, I apologize for so many questions.

Does anyone happen to know how I would go about wiring this solenoid to centroid for air blast? I just simply want to hook it up to the relay board but am unsure how I can go about doing it.
