turning radius - surface with steps

hi guys, trying to turn some radius i realized, that there a visible steps in the surface. i thought, that the servo drives are not well set up, but i optimized all parameters and servos are runny really smoot now with less than 20counts error ( 1/100mm max deviation ) but steps in the radius are st...

CNC12 V5.08 Feedrate is controlled by rapidfeed control

hi guys, today i had a really strange mistake. i did some easy cuts for figure out how to produce better surface in a radius. ( see other thread later ). attached you can find the g-code created 100% in Intercon without any manual modification. i wondered, because the feed while turning was really s...

Re: best Threading strategy

Hi Uwe, i know that function. But i cannot rename it correctly.

I will have a lot of special threads, so would be great if the XML worms. I will try the next days.

Re: CNC lathe Dealing with long chips

hi Uwe, yes, 200m would be better, but i have often Diameters of 20mm or smaller, so the spindle would be always in Max Speed. So i try to find good parameters with lower Vc. pecking macro for outer roughing is a good idea, but at first i have to get confident with Intercon itself. the last cut is n...

Re: CNC lathe Dealing with long chips

hi Uwe,

thank you. for Aluminium i dont have an issue, 7075 is producing nice short chips with f0,2 and 100vc.

i am more talking about titanium, it is very hard here to get short chips.
