Re: Sanyo Denki PY AC Servo Drive + AcornSix - how to + a retrofit story
Ok, so I poked through the manual and found: Parameter settings for input pulse forms on page 7-40 (pdf page 124). You'll want the "Code + pulse train" setting for standard ACORNSIX. Control mode parameter settings on page 7-55 (pdf page 139). You'd want "Position control type". ...

Re: Homing to hard stop with Delta B3A drives
Is it possible to initiate the various homing procedures in the delta B3A drives? Specifically, is it possible to home to the physical hard stop? I do not believe it will be easy to make it work that way unless you can figure out how to switch the drive from PR mode to communication mode and then p...

Re: Centroid Oak with Rexroth IndraDrive M servo drives
Honestly, that manual does not explain anything about the modes other than that they exist. It also calls out sections that do not exist in the document so I cannot be certain that the modes would function the way I expect. But, I found all sorts of documents on the Rexroth website that might help. ...

Re: Kollmorgen AKD drives
Do you have anything set for the PID values now? Follow TB234 to get velocity mode tuned up right. What is the encoder counts per rev? If it really is the 2048 from the report in the first post then you should try starting with Kp = 3.125, Ki = 0.03906, Kd = 0, Limit = 2560000, Kg = 0, Kv1 = 80, and...

Re: Centroid Oak with Rexroth IndraDrive M servo drives
The first thing I would do is verify that they have the closed loop firmware with servo functionality as broken down in Chapter 4.1. From this manual, I don't see any way to configure the digital inputs for the Oak's position control signals so I think you'll be limited to velocity mode.

Re: Kollmorgen AKD drives
Alright, thank you for breaking down your wiring. Precision mode is position mode using A/B phase quadrature step signals. If you were using that mode, you would need to wire it to X9 which then eliminates the encoder feedback to the Oak and would not work. So, you wired it right and must use veloci...

Re: Kollmorgen AKD drives
Hello, please post pictures and a diagram of your wiring with the flying lead cable. It seems that these drives can be configured to work in either mode whether you should use precision (position) or velocity mode depends on the wiring and the settings in the servo drive. Did you wire the Oak to the...

Re: Jianken JGL100 with Simphoenix E550 VFD configuration
I would suggest trying the snubber circuit modification from this post: viewtopic.php?p=46032#p46032
If that fails, then a signal isolator might be the ticket. Some options are posted in this thread: https://centroidcncforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=60&t=10170

Re: Can Centroid Control this?
I think you might have to request a spec sheet from Heidenhain but from the dimensional drawing/mounting instruction sheet ( https://product.heidenhain.de/JPBC/image/HWP.DE/hlr-system/id-nr.281593-94_rod_450-456.pdf ), it is a sine output so it will need to be changed or converted. You will probably...
