There's two paths that I can see:
1. Wire to the output relays and choose the NO or NC contact depending on whether or not the enable input needs to conduct to be on.
2. Find the line in the PLC and invert the behavior.

Re: Help on isolation switch fit two circuits/power supplies
Mine is a Chinese vfd it's a huanyang one so I don't think it has a breaker within it apparently most the Chinese stuff don't. Over time I will be replacing them when I can afford ro spend but I just wanted to get back up and running. I think you might be able to find a matching manual on the follo...

Re: Delta ASDA-B2 ACORN WIRING INFORMATION
It is not a good idea to have an inductive load (i.e. relay or contactor coil, DC motor, etc) without some means of protecting from the energy spike that results when the current is cut off. At best you will introduce noise that could interfere with the other equipment and at worst there is the poss...

Re: Help on isolation switch fit two circuits/power supplies
I can answer two of these: There should be formulae to calculate the required braking resistor or a table listing the values in the VFD manual. Depending on what series of VFD, it might have the braking resistor built in. You can assign one of the output relays to "SpindleCoolingFan" and i...

Re: Upgrading a Gorilla CNC from Flashcut to Acorn
Hi Centroid467, As I understand from most replies I have received from the community, members do not clearly understand the subtle differences between Sink and Source output with common ground in Source configuration or common supply in Sink configuration. As an electronic circuit designer, I will ...

Re: Upgrading a Gorilla CNC from Flashcut to Acorn
Hello Daniel, You are right that the 74ACT125 tri-state buffers on the DB25 outputs will both sink and source current so wire them as in the DB25 drawings. I could not find any documentation on your specific drives and I suspect they might be a customized version for Gorilla CNC but from the 7th pag...

Re: Server motorsport run after update of CNC 12
Hello Steve, There should be a page in the Wizard under "DB25 Connector" labelled "Mapping". There will be a drop down menu to select DB25 or Screw Terminal near the top of the page. See page 95 in the ACORN installation manual for some nice pictures: https://www.centroidcnc.com/...

Re: Server motorsport run after update of CNC 12
Hello, I am taking a look at your report and I see that your CPU (Core 2 Duo P7570) is below our minimum requirements for good performance. However, I do not believe that is your main issue here. As it has been a while since the machine was last used, I would go through and verify that all the wirin...

Re: New build - Novakon Pulsar
Hello, If the spindle driver outputs differential quadrature encoder signals and the servo is belted 1:1 with the spindle then yes you should be able to use it for rigid tapping. If it is not belted 1:1 then you will need an encoder that is belted 1:1 with the spindle. Yes, there are gear ratio para...
